By accessing or using the Platform in any capacity—including browsing, registering an account, claiming a business profile, submitting a quote request, submitting a listing, communicating with other users, or otherwise interacting with any feature of the Website—you ("User," "you," or "your") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy in its entirety.

Your use of the Platform constitutes your unconditional acceptance of this Policy. If you do not agree with any provision herein, you must immediately discontinue all use of the Platform.

1. Information We Collect

We collect a broad range of information from and about Users of the Platform. This includes, without limitation, the following categories of data:

1.1 Personal Information

When you register for an account, submit a listing, claim a business profile, request a quote, contact us, or otherwise interact with the Platform, we may collect personally identifiable information, including but not limited to: your full name, email address, phone number, mailing address, zip code, business name, business address, professional credentials, financial information related to business listings, and any other information you voluntarily provide.

1.2 Consumer Quote Request Information

When you submit a quote request through our "Get a Quote" feature, we collect information about your pest control needs, including: your name, email address, phone number, zip code, state, property type, pest type, severity level, urgency level, whether you have had prior treatment, additional messages, and any photographs you upload. This information is used to generate price estimates and to connect you with qualified pest control professionals in your area.

1.3 Business Directory Information from Public Sources

Our Platform maintains a directory of pest control businesses across the United States. We collect business information from publicly available sources, including but not limited to: state licensing databases, government regulatory filings, public business registrations, Google Business Profiles, industry directories, business websites, social media profiles, and other publicly accessible data sources. This information may include business names, addresses, phone numbers, websites, service types, service areas, Google ratings and reviews, founding year, employee count, and other publicly available business details.

Business profiles created from public data sources are clearly marked as unverified until claimed by the business owner. We believe that aggregating publicly available business information serves a legitimate public interest by helping consumers find qualified pest control providers.

1.4 Internet Protocol (IP) Address and Device Data

We automatically collect your IP address each time you access the Platform. In addition, we collect information about your device, including browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, screen resolution, language preferences, and referring URLs.

1.5 Usage Data

We collect data regarding your interactions with the Platform, including pages visited, features used, links clicked, time spent on pages, search queries, listing views, clickstream data, navigation patterns, and all other activity and behavioral data generated through your use of the Platform.

1.6 Listing and Business Data

Any and all information submitted in connection with a business listing or claimed business profile—including business descriptions, financial data, revenue figures, customer counts, service areas, photographs, documents, promotions, social media links, attachments, and any other materials uploaded—are collected and stored by the Company. This includes both published listing content and draft or unpublished content.

1.7 Reviews and Ratings

When users submit reviews and ratings of pest control businesses on the Platform, we collect the review content, ratings, any uploaded photographs, and metadata associated with the submission. Reviews are publicly displayed on the Platform.

1.8 Communications

We may collect the content of messages, inquiries, and communications sent through the Platform, including messages between buyers and sellers, lead inquiries, quote requests, review responses, communications with our support team, and any other correspondence transmitted via the Platform or directed to us through email or other channels.

1.9 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third-party sources, including payment processors, analytics providers, advertising networks, data enrichment services, and publicly available sources. We may combine this information with other data we collect about you.

2. How We Use Your Information

By using the Platform, you grant the Company the unrestricted right to use any and all information collected from or about you for any lawful purpose, in our sole and absolute discretion. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, we may use your information for the following purposes:

1. Platform Operations: To operate, maintain, improve, and personalize the Platform and its features, including the business directory, quote matching service, M&A marketplace, licensing guides, pest guides, and all other Platform features.
2. Lead Generation and Matching: To match consumer quote requests with qualified pest control businesses based on location, service type, and other criteria. When you submit a quote request, your contact information and service details may be shared with one or more pest control businesses in your area so they can provide you with quotes and follow up on your request.
3. Marketing and Communications: To send you marketing emails, newsletters, product updates, industry news, promotional offers, and other communications related to PestControlBusinesses.com and pest control services. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us at brian@pestcontrolbusinesses.com. Please note that even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send you transactional or service-related communications (such as account notifications, lead alerts, and quote confirmations).
4. Business Directory and Public Profiles: To create, maintain, update, and display business profiles in our public directory, including profiles created from publicly available data sources. Business profile information is displayed publicly to help consumers find pest control providers.
5. Marketing and Advertising: To market and promote the Platform, our services, and the services of our partners, affiliates, and third parties. This includes sending promotional emails, newsletters, and targeted advertising based on your data and usage patterns.
6. Commercial Use and Monetization: To use, license, sell, or otherwise commercialize collected data in aggregated, de-identified, or identifiable form, as permitted by applicable law. We expressly reserve the right to derive commercial value from all data collected through the Platform.
7. Analytics and Research: To conduct analytics, research, and reporting, including generating market insights, industry reports, valuation data, trend analyses, and other derivative works based on Platform data.
8. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: To train, develop, improve, and deploy artificial intelligence models, machine learning algorithms, and other automated systems using data collected through the Platform. This includes the use of listing data, user behavior data, communications, and any other collected information for AI training and development purposes.
9. Data Aggregation and Sharing: To aggregate, compile, and share data with third-party partners, affiliates, advertisers, investors, and other entities for commercial, analytical, or promotional purposes.
10. Service Improvement: To analyze usage patterns, diagnose technical issues, and improve the functionality, security, and user experience of the Platform.
11. Legal and Compliance: To comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, protect our rights and property, prevent fraud, and respond to legal processes.
12. Any Other Lawful Purpose: To use collected data for any other purpose not expressly prohibited by applicable law, at our sole discretion.

3. Consumer Quote Requests and Lead Sharing

When you submit a quote request through the Platform, you understand and agree that:

• Your contact information (name, email, phone number, zip code) and service details (pest type, property type, severity, urgency, and any messages or photos you provide) will be shared with one or more pest control businesses in your area that may be able to service your request.
• These businesses may contact you directly by phone, email, or text message to follow up on your quote request and provide pricing information.
• The Company does not control and is not responsible for the communications or services provided by third-party pest control businesses. Your interactions with these businesses are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
• The Company may charge pest control businesses a fee for access to your quote request information as part of our lead generation services.
• Your quote request information may be retained by the Company and the businesses it is shared with even after your request has been fulfilled.

By submitting a quote request, you expressly consent to being contacted by pest control businesses regarding your service needs. If you no longer wish to be contacted, you may notify the individual business directly or contact us to request that we remove your information from future lead distributions.

4. Business Directory and Publicly Sourced Data

The Platform operates a business directory containing information about pest control companies across the United States. We compile this directory using information from publicly available sources, including government databases, business registrations, licensing records, web search results, and other public data.

If you are a business owner and your business appears in our directory, you may:

• Claim your profile to take control of the information displayed, correct inaccuracies, and enhance your listing with additional details, photos, and promotions.
• Request corrections to any inaccurate information by contacting us at brian@pestcontrolbusinesses.com.
• Request removal of your business from the directory by contacting us at brian@pestcontrolbusinesses.com with the subject line "Business Removal Request." We will process removal requests within thirty (30) business days. Please include your business name, address, and proof of ownership or authority to request removal.

Business directory profiles that have not been claimed by the owner are clearly marked as unverified. The Company makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of publicly sourced data but does not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of any directory listing.

5. Data Ownership and License

By uploading, submitting, posting, or otherwise transmitting any content, data, documents, images, or materials to the Platform (collectively, "User Content"), you grant the Company a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully sublicensable, transferable, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, display, and otherwise exploit such User Content in any form, medium, or technology now known or hereafter developed, for any purpose whatsoever, without further consent, notice, or compensation to you.

You acknowledge and agree that any User Content uploaded to the Platform becomes available for use by the Company without restriction. If you upload it, it is fair game for us to use. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit any User Content and that such content does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.

This license survives termination of your account or cessation of your use of the Platform. The Company is under no obligation to remove or delete User Content upon account termination.

6. Marketing Communications and Consent

By creating an account, submitting a quote request, claiming a business profile, or otherwise providing your contact information through the Platform, you consent to receive marketing communications from PestControlBusinesses.com, including but not limited to:

• Newsletters, industry news, and educational content about pest control services and business ownership;
• Platform updates, new feature announcements, and product information;
• Promotional offers, discounts, and marketing materials related to our services and those of our partners;
• Information about pest control licensing, regulations, and industry developments; and
• Follow-up communications regarding your use of the Platform.

Opt-Out: You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by: (a) clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any marketing email; (b) emailing us at brian@pestcontrolbusinesses.com with the subject line "Unsubscribe"; or (c) replying to any marketing email with the word "STOP." We will process opt-out requests within ten (10) business days.

Please note that opting out of marketing communications does not affect transactional or service-related communications, including but not limited to: account verification emails, password reset emails, lead notifications, quote confirmations, subscription billing notices, and other messages necessary for the operation of your account or the services you have requested.

7. Public Information

Any information included in a business listing or directory profile on the Platform—including but not limited to business descriptions, contact information, service areas, photographs, reviews, ratings, promotions, and any other listing details—is considered public information. By creating, claiming, or publishing a listing or profile, you acknowledge and agree that such information will be publicly accessible and may be viewed, collected, indexed, cached, and used by any person or entity, including search engines, data aggregators, and other third parties.

The Company assumes no responsibility or liability for the use or misuse of publicly available listing information by third parties. You should not include any information in a listing that you wish to keep confidential. The act of submitting information for a listing constitutes your consent to the public disclosure of that information.

8. Communications Between Users

The Platform may facilitate communications between consumers and pest control businesses, prospective buyers and sellers of pest control businesses, and other Users. Any information exchanged between users in the course of such communications is entirely between the parties involved. Users should not share any information through the Platform that they wish to keep confidential.

The Company is not a party to, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, accuracy, or consequences of communications between users. The Company does not guarantee the confidentiality of messages transmitted through the Platform. We strongly recommend that parties execute appropriate non-disclosure agreements and other legal protections independently before sharing sensitive business information.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Company reserves the right to access, review, monitor, and retain communications transmitted through the Platform for purposes including, but not limited to, platform moderation, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, compliance with legal obligations, and enforcement of our Terms of Service.

9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Platform uses cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, local storage, and other tracking technologies (collectively, "Tracking Technologies") to collect information about your use of the Platform. These technologies enable us to:

• Remember your preferences and authenticate your sessions;

We may retain User Content, listing data, lead information, communications, usage data, IP addresses, and all other collected information indefinitely. Even if you request deletion of your account, we reserve the right to retain copies of your data in our systems, backups, and archives for any lawful purpose, including compliance with legal obligations, dispute resolution, and enforcement of our agreements.

Aggregated, de-identified, or derivative data may be retained and used perpetually without restriction.

12. Your Rights and Data Removal Requests

• Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.

• Business Profile Removal: If you are a business owner and wish to have your business removed from our directory, you may request removal by emailing us with the subject line "Business Removal Request." Include your business name, address, and proof of ownership or authority. We will process removal requests within thirty (30) business days.
• Marketing Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications using the methods described in Section 6.
• Review Removal: If a review about your business violates our guidelines, you may flag it for review by contacting us.

To protect your privacy and security, we may require verification of your identity before processing any request. We will respond to all verified requests within thirty (30) business days.

California Residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have additional rights regarding your personal information, including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. 13. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. 14. Changes to This Policy
